Kids Clay Camp and Teen Wheel Camp
Pottery Fundamentals for Teens
Dates: Monday, July 22 to Friday, July 26, 2024
Time: 1:00pm to 4:00pm

Class Size: Maximum 10 Students
This week-long session of afternoon classes is for teens who are 13 to 18 years of age and have some previous experience with clay. The camp is led by two very experienced ceramic artists, with a maximum instructor to camper ratio of 1 to 5.
Throughout the course, students will learn a variety of techniques including how to hand build functional and decorative pieces, center clay on the wheel and construct cylinder and bowl forms. Students will learn to trim green ware, and tips and tricks to successful surface design and decoration.
No wheel experience is required! Clay, firings, glazing and other materials to complete one-of-a-kind creations are all included in the camp fee.
Please note that registrations for teen wheel will be accepted up to and including Friday, July 12, 2024.

Kids Summer Clay Camp
Dates: Monday, July 29 to Friday, August 2, 2024
Time: 9:00am to 12:00 noon

This week-long camp of morning classes is for kids ages 7 to 12 years of age who are interested in learning about working with clay. There is a maximum instructor to camper ratio of 1 to 5.
Throughout the week, campers will create both functional and decorative pieces of art, unleashing their imaginative side while engaging in a fun new hands-on skill. Clay, firings, glazing and other materials to complete one-of-a-kind creations are all included in the camp fee.
