Linda graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Fine Art Studio. At that time her main area of focus was printmaking. Since then she has developed a strong interest in pottery. As a teacher of art at the secondary school level she was kept busy but also involved in many aspects of art related activities.

Her home and studio are near Sunderland, Ontario, and they encompass the peace and quiet of country living. Most of her pottery is functional ware that is wheel thrown and hand built. She uses porcelain clay and a vibrant palette of glaze colours reflective of her natural environment. Experimentation with different clays, glazes and firing techniques has resulted in Linda's preference for clear energetic gaze colours, which show off the elegance of her forms while maintaining their everyday functionality.
