This 8-week course introduces the participants to a fusion of beginner wheel-thrown and hand-building techniques. Learn how to turn a simple ball of clay into a one-of-a-kind piece that expresses your artistry! Using clay as the medium, students will create pieces using a variety of techniques (eg. pinch, coil, slab, wheel) taught by different instructors. After learning building techniques, students will be encouraged to take their pieces to the next level by incorporating various methods of surface decoration.
