Lisa-Marie Oliphant

Pine Tree Potters' Guild (PTPG) provided Lisa-Marie with her introduction to pottery making in January 2017 through a beginner's handbuilding class, lead by Linda Szoldatits, then a wheel class led by Teresa Dunlop. The experience of learning to make pottery felt like coming home, so Lisa-Marie became a member of PTPG in January 2018 to continue the never ending learning journey the pottery world offers.

Being a part of the Guild means you are a part of a community of like minded creative spirits all with a passion for pottery. Lisa-Marie has enjoyed being active in various guild roles, events and initiatives, supporting the Guild’s social media growth,  and serving as the Chair of the Annual Empty Bowls Fundraiser from 2021 to 2025.

One of the Guild’s mandates is to foster continued education in the ceramic arts.  Lisa-Marie is passionate about sharing her knowledge, skills and enthusiasm about pottery with others, so you’ll find her teaching classes at the Guild and in the community.

With a focus on creating functional pottery, her pieces are meant to be enjoyed in everyday life!  You'll see her work at the  Guild’s annual pottery sales, and she would also be happy to create something customized just for you; commissions are welcomed!

Be sure to reach out to her directly if you any inquiries or are interested in classes or workshops!
