Pottery Fundamentals for Teens

This week-long session of afternoon classes is for teens who are 13 to 18 years of age and have some previous experience with clay. Throughout the course, students will learn a variety of techniques including how to: hand build functional and decorative pieces, center clay on the wheel and construct cylinder and bowl forms. Students will learn to trim green ware, and gain tips and tricks for successful surface design and decoration.  No wheel experience is required!

Kids Clay Camp

 

Dates: Monday July 29 to Friday August 2

Time: 9am-noon

Cost: $295.00 (includes tax)

Class Size: Maximum 10 Students

This week-long camp of morning classes is for kids ages 7 to 12 years of age who are interested in learning about working with clay. Throughout the week, campers will create both functional and decorative pieces of art, unleashing their imaginative side while engaging in a fun new hands-on skill. Clay, firings, glazing and other materials to complete one-of-a-kind creations are all included in the camp fee.
