Starting with a simple ball of clay, you’ll be introduced to basic handbuilding techniques such as pinch pots, coils, slab construction, and simple sculptural forms, while experimenting with texture, carving, underglazes, and glazing.
A variety of techniques and approaches will be demonstrated, giving students the opportunity to try both functional and sculptural work.
